Café Américain is a classic grand café and was a meeting place for art-loving Amsterdam in the 1950s and 1960s.

Today, Café Americain is an iconic place with a beautiful view over the Leidseplein. The famous Art Deco restaurant has classic allure according to the rules of the 21st century. High quality, accessible style and a lot of personality.

Typical Amsterdam products on an all-day menu are complemented by Dutch ingredients. A modern brasserie that writes new history with both 'class' and 'classics'. From early morning until late at night.
